I love this quote so very much. I am very sentimental about the people that have made and continue to make such a profound difference in the quality of my life. There are those people that you just know were put in your path by divine providence. Especially when you recognize the vast number of possibilities in the universe and in time.
Think about your spouse, and the children you've been given. Or your parents and siblings and other family members. These are your people and there needs to be a separate word for that kind of love. Also for the ones you embrace as your dearest friends. To say you love them is just not enough.
The feelings well up and the word seems hollow to describe it. These amazing ones lift us, inspire us and give us reason to rejoice all the time. (Even when they make us nuts sometimes!)
Most of all they also love us back with all of our weaknesses and imperfections and that is the way life just needs to be. Whatever we have to do to keep that going needs to be done. They are like oxygen to the soul.
